Are You Ready to Take Off?

Leverage our expertise and the sky's the limit!

There are four distinct, but interrelated reasons why some nonprofits succeed and others fail: Your Plan, Your Leadership, Your Engagement and Your Fundraising. And when you understand how these four elements work together properly, you can create an effective and highly impactful nonprofit organization and you can do so in record time. That's why we've created the High Impact Powerhouse Program - to help nonprofit leaders do just that.

Mindset Shift

Organizations that grow significantly have a moment in time when they consciously shift their mindset from one of scarcity to one of abundance. And, when they do, the way forward becomes much clearer, because there are fewer choices they need to make.

When you shift your mindset, great things begin to happen. And I'm not talking about manifesting something out of thin air. No, there are concrete steps you can take to change your thinking. And, specific things you should be thinking about. We work with you to take the right steps, in the right order.

There are three things you need to do to make the Mindset Shift:

Discovering why 10x is easier than 2x

Finding your North Star

Learning how to both serve and advocate

Powerhouse Positioning

swirly-arrow-white

In order to become a powerhouse, you have to position your organization in the marketplace so that others see you in the way you want them to see you, not necessarily the way you are at the moment. This takes a bit of analysis, self-reflection, and understanding your organization inside and out. You also have to determine what's important to you and what's not. Because if you don't, you'll always be distracted by low level things that prevent you from having the kind of impact you desire.

The five core components of Powerhouse Positioning are:

Harnessing your personal & organizational superpowers

Ditching the status quo

Creating a comfortable culture

Creating top level priorities

Money Magnets

There are ways of dealing with the marketplace that are magnetic and there are ways that are repulsive. Until you learn what attracts your potential donors, and then provide it in ways meaningful to them, you'll always be driving them further away from you and never make the leap to having enough resources to support your important work.

Creating Money Magnets does exactly that. It creates drawing power and it is purposeful, natural and irresistible.

There are two core components of Money Magnets:

Deploying a donor funnel to attract, engage and convert individual prospects into donors

Creating win-win opportunities for partners (foundation, corporate & earned income ventures)

Decision Framework

Decision Framework

Until you can get in the driver's seat and steer your nonprofit to exactly where you want your nonprofit to be, you're always going to be a victim of what happens to you. Having a Decision Framework combats that tendency and gives you a clear roadmap to success. It takes you from drifting to driving.

When you are driving, you decide the destination, not your supporters. Get this part right, and everything else falls into place.

There are three core components of your Decision Framework:

Using the SPADE method

Choosing good over great

Discovering needs vs. wants

Leadership Leverage

two people talking

Conventional wisdom says that scaling your nonprofit starts with strengthening internal management capabilities. Research done by the Stanford Social Innovation Review of 12 high-impact nonprofits, however, shows that real social change happens when organizations go outside their own walls and find creative ways to enlist the help of others. In other words, they leverage their leadership.

Do this right, and your reputation will precede you. You won't often deal with questions about impact and credibility. People will come to know and trust you and they will want to help. You'll just need to show them how they can.

There are five core components of Leadership Leverage:

Knowing your "who's"

Creating evangelists

High Growth Plan

swirly-arrow-white

We’ve been taught that Rome wasn’t built in a day.
You put in the long hours and years of hard work and you’ll get there. But this thinking doesn't take into account the incredible passion and innovation of the nonprofit leader. It is a concept that is flawed and outdated.

We believe -and have proven- that there is a better, faster way of getting there.

We call it the High Growth Plan. It's a way of growing an organization in way less time than most other nonprofits are doing because it doesn't buy into the myths that the only way to scale a nonprofit is by site-by-site or dollar-by-dollar.

There are three core components to creating a High Growth Plan:

Creating a One Page Strategic Plan (OPSP)

Developing a Project Backlog

Monitoring your Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
